Liquid Glass Home Assistant
Upgraded my personal smart home to Home Assistant and designed a UI inspired by Apple's Liquid Glass

A full-stack infrastructure and interaction redesign, converting a legacy Control4 setup into a zero-latency, 100% Apple Home-compatible smart home with a custom “Liquid Glass” touch dashboard.
Physical & Network Architecture: Re-wired Ethernet across all rooms, ran fiber-optic eARC HDMI through the attic, re-amped multi-zone audio, and isolated IoT traffic on a dedicated, frequency-optimized VLAN. Compute & HomeKit Integration: Configured Home Assistant on a LattePanda IOTA single-board computer with a custom HomeKit bridge, enabling native Siri and Apple Home control across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS. Spatial UI & Tactile Affordances: Designed a glassmorphism dashboard UI tailored for wall panels, featuring real-time translucency, depth hierarchy, and dynamic blur optimized for ambient lighting and quick micro-interactions.
